Production
a) Production department will prepare, in accordance
with approved shop drawings, a detailed cutting list and cutting
sheets which state items, component size, profile and quantity which
is checked by the Production Manager.
b) The Production Manager in co-ordination with the production section
incharges will determine which machinery to be utilized and the
appropriate materials will be drawn from stores, marked and cut
by allotted machinist under the supervision of the section foreman.
Some items will pass through several machine processes.
c) For veneer works the selected veneers will be assembled by skilled
operators, stitched and pressed on to prepare backings. Similarly,
for the laminated work all hydraulic press work is supervised.
d) All products shall be identified by a unique part number and
are recorded and srutinised before dispatching to assembly section
or paint section.
e) The Production Manager through his supervisor will allocate and
monitor final manufacturing and assembly before passing appropriate
items to paint shop. The quality inspection will be done at every
stage of production.
f) The Paint shop Manager will instruct the foreman in preparation
area to carry out necessary mechanical or hand sanding and filling
before passing to paint shop.
g) According to the approved samples and specifications, the paint
finish will be applied by using automatic lacquering line.
h) After drying of final coat the Quality Inspector will check the
products thoroughly as per the drawings, specifications and approved
samples before passing to packing and dispatch section.
i) Care will be taken to ensure that the finished items are handled,
packed, wrapped and stored as appropriate before loading for delivery.
j) All items are bar coded and the bar code level is fixed on each
product prior to dispatch.
k) The bar code of dispatched goods are downloaded in computer every
day and the dispatched items are monitored using the designed software
package.
l) Any damage on delivery is recorded and action taken to correct
the problem by site supervisor or foreman returning the item to
the factory utilizing Material Return Forms.
